The 09 April at the Fincantieri Factory of Muggiano (La Spezia), the first seminar "How to become a ship" was held, organized by the New Naval Construction Equipment Center of the Navy (Marinalles) with the support of Fincantieri.
In addition to the students of the Naval Engineering Department of the University of Genoa, the representatives of the local small and medium-sized business sector and the main MM authorities in the La Spezia area and the Logistics Command, attended by many exponents of the Private Industry. such as Fincantieri, Leonardo, MBDA, Cetena, Baglietto and Blue Hub - Special Company of the Riviere di Liguria Chamber of Commerce - whose President, Dr. Cristiana Pagni, was able to illustrate the general features of the next SEA FUTURE 2018 (v.link).
Expertise, synergy and technology were the main features of the day. An ever growing experience in the process of setting up new shipbuilding is increasingly maturing in the Armed Forces, both in the technical field and in the preparation and initial training of the crews. This is confirmed by the current shipbuilding programs such as FREMM, PPA, LSS, LHD and UNPAV that have already involved and will involve the industrial pole of the eastern Ligurian in the next decade, with important positive effects on the territory, both in terms of employment and investment .
