Last night a three-year-old girl in imminent danger of life was transported from Cagliari to Ciampino (Rome) aboard a C-130J plane of the 46th Air Force Air Brigade, to be then hospitalized in the pediatric hospital Baby Jesus of Rome.
The mission, requested by the prefecture of Oristano, was ordered by the Summit Situation Room of the command of the aerial team, the operational room of the Air Force from where this type of interventions are also coordinated.
Taking off at about 2:00 from Pisa airport, home of the 46th air brigade, once arrived in Cagliari the C-130J embarked the little patient together with her mother and a medical team.
At 4: 00 about the aircraft landed at Ciampino airport, where the child was transported by ambulance to the hospital Baby Jesus.
