General Fantuzzi then underscored the importance of the Center's increasing collaboration with the world of universities, research and industry, working with them in perfect synergy. At the end of his speech, the logistic commander thanked General Molteni for his work during the six years of command and formulated his "good luck" to General Lunardi for his new post.

The CSV brings together under a single command all the institutions of study and testing of the AM L'Ente, in light of the new reorganization designed by the Armed Forces, is structured in three departments: Experimental Flight Department, Aeronautical and Space Materials Technologies Department and the Department Aeronautical and Space Medicine.

The Center is the main advisory body of the FA and the AD for in-flight testing of aircraft and weapon systems, the analysis and chemical-physical evaluation of structural and consumption materials, training and experimentation in the field of aerospace medicine, management of operational software and operational verification of weapon systems.

The consolidated professionalism of the staff, the equipment of cutting-edge equipment, the continuous contacts and exchanges with important national and foreign research institutes and, last but not least, the possession of the ISO 9001-2008 quality certification, which contributes to the validity of the results of the activities of study and research also from a commercial point of view, make the CSV a resource of excellence for the AM and, more generally, for the country.
