On them we aim to better serve Italy 365 days a year, 24 hours on 24 ", said Undersecretary of State for Defense Angelo Tofalo who spoke at the presentation of the 2019 calendar.
Undersecretary Tofalo stressed the important role of the Arma Azzurra he represents "One of the pillars of the national security system able to guarantee a daily service to the country, thanks to a dual use ability and to the extraordinary commitment of the boys in uniform" and adds "the Aeronautica Militare is our national pride! An excellence in flight as on earth! ".
In his speech Tofalo also recalled the recent achievement of the Initial Operational Capability, which "Puts Italy in first place in Europe to have achieved an operational capacity with machines of fifth generation."
