Today's busy day for the Air Force crews in readiness. All H24 alarm services have been activated for the safety and rescue of the civilian population.

Air Defense

Search and Rescue

An HH139A helicopter of the 82nd Combat Search & Rescue Center (C / SAR) of Trapani, dependent on the 15th Wing of Cervia, was activated in the late afternoon today to search and rescue a young girl caught by a sudden illness while he was inside the Zingaro nature reserve. The military crew, activated by the Air Operations Command of the Air Force, took off from the military airport of Trapani to the reserve, operating in close synergy with the National Speleological and Alpine Rescue Corps.

Once identified, the young woman was rescued and recovered on board the helicopter thanks to the aid of the winch.

Emergency Health Transport

A military transport aircraft C-130J of the 46 ^ Air Brigade of Pisa was activated following the request of the Cosenza Prefecture for the transport of an ambulance carrying an 18 baby girl in imminent danger of life. The particular transport was necessary to transfer the small patient from Lamezia Terme to Turin.

Transportation Organs

At the first light of dawn a Falcon 900 aircraft from Ciampino's 31 ° Stormo carried out, at the request of the Prefecture of Udine, the urgent transport of an organ from the hospital of Turin to that of Udine.
