(To Airbus)

The Border Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan has signed a firm order for an Airbus C295 medium transport aircraft.

Thanks to this new agreement, which includes training, spare parts and ground support equipment, increases the fleet of C295 in service in Kazakhstan, which passes to nine aircraft.

The new C295, in the transport configuration, will play a fundamental role in border control activities and in national security operations, thanks to its proven reliability and cost efficiency in low temperature operations.

With this new order the Kazakhstan Border Service becomes the 31 operator of the C295 and brings to 13 the total number of aircraft ordered by the CIS countries.
