The NH90 Sea Lion successfully completed demonstration missions for its various jobs in the German Navy in July, including SAR (Search and Rescue) missions.
Representatives of the Navy and of the BAAINBw procurement agency took part in the tests which involved the use of a rescue winch, verification of reconnaissance capacities and the descent of patrols and equipment of the Special Forces, including a dinghy .
The delivery of the first Sea Lion helicopters is scheduled for the end of the 2019.
The overall order is for 18 helicopters.
