The minister of legality ... in his own way

The controversy over what happened in Rome after the Lazio match has not yet died down, that the interior minister Salvini, the social minister, made an appearance - to be honest very affectionate - by the ultrà friends of Milan, proudly embracing the their leader, a convict for drug trafficking offenses. It was like watching those films where the president of some imaginary eastern republic has a relationship with the local underworld because, you never know, he might need it to cover his business. But that's not enough. The minister should realize that his actions are no longer those of a militant of the League who, hair with horns and beer in hand, goes to Pontida to celebrate the birth of an elusive kingdom of Middle-earth. Now the institutional position he holds carries with it very specific responsibilities: an awareness of what is legal and what is not. The slogan "investigated among the suspects", proudly proclaimed by the head of the Interior Ministry, is of absolute gravity, above all because it supports a concept of illegality that here in Italy is now outclassing that of justice.

Salvini is a leader acclaimed by people because he has learned to respond to what people want to hear, waving his mantras: the fight against immigration and the Italians first. Promises that keeps in a rather grotesque way, adopting measures that do not solve any problem, but that satisfy the popular need for "social revenge" against years of ineptitude of the left. And here, as if by magic, the true culprits of Salviniana phenomenology are revealed artistopopolari opposition that diametrically opposed to those of the head of the League, have discredited the Italian being. The awkward Salvini draws lifeblood from all those years in which Mrs. Boldrini and associates, unjustly punished the meaning of homeland by mistakenly assimilating it to that of nationalism. So much the struggle for an educated parliament, besides being clean, is unfortunately lost.

These considerations, obviously judged at first sight "on the side", arise in response to what happened in Rome and not for a political partisanship. Online Defense he deals with military affairs, however, taking the trouble to launch popular polls both on Minister Trenta and on Salvini, he tries to get in on matters of his competence as defense, army, police and public order. The fact that a carabiniere risked being slaughtered by a group of supporters horrible terribly with the image of the interior minister who acclaims an ultra curve with a lot of handshake to their prejudiced boss; here it is not about the League, PD or 5 Stars Movement, it's just a matter of education and minimum know-how politic. Perhaps Salvini thought that being the carabiniere of Lazio were not like those of Milan, but in fact unfortunately the assessment is dramatically wrong. Superficiality, this is the real problem. The same that he suggested to the good deputy chairman of the council to define Hezbollah terrorists, just to wink at Israel. Declaring oneself against these attitudes will surely be taken as a provocation, a fact that will feed the haters that infest the Facebook pages. It's Christmas and therefore a gift was to be made.

In this case, being hated is a risk that we must run because being silent in the face of such events would be indecent, but above all inconsistent with what was declared about organized supporters, criminality and football clubs. In the midst of all this there are guys who wear a uniform and every Sunday they go to the stadium closed inside some trucks to protect public order. Fraternizing with a prejudice of the curve and supporting, with pride, the thesis of the suspect among the suspects has the same delegitimizing value of the defense ministry when it denies the value of its soldiers and their missions. A minister can not, must not do this. We wait patiently, next Sunday at San Siro, the banner "Salvini one of us" and then the omelette is made.
