Parliamentary visit of the Defense Commission at the polygon of Capo Frasca

19/03/16

Yesterday morning an institutional visit was held by the parliamentarians in the Defense Commission, Hon. Emanuela Corda and on Tatiana Basilio at the Capo Frasca range to attend a standard exercise of the Italian Air Force's flight departments.

Accompanied by the commander of the Decimomannu base and the military representation, the visit ended around the 15. Personally as national delegate of the Cocer I can confirm what has already been stated other times or that in Frasca only inert armament is used which, once on the ground, is collected and then sold as iron. So no danger to workers and health. We cannot continue to speculate about the military and mystify reality. It is no longer acceptable to face shameful accusations without really knowing the facts. Capo Frasca together with the Decimomannu military airport are two inseparable entities that employ around 1500 workers and produce an armature that wages only 70 million euros. Frasca has always been a shooting range for aggregates and all Sardinians must know this because there is no risk of any kind.
