Marò: if Girone is not a hostage that makes us in India?

(To Co.Ce.R. MARINA)

On the occasion of the < > while we remember all the men of the sea who sacrificed their lives for the country, we cannot forget the sufferings of Massimiliano Latorre and Salvatore Girone.
Despite the technical assurances made by the General Staff of Defense about Salvatore Girone's state of health, we remain very worried because, as he declares:
«To this day I am still ill. My blood scores are not as perfect as they were before - I would need treatment and convalescence and psychological rest in my native home, as would any military government employee. But I can't see my illegal detention status ».

After more than three years of detention there are other aspects of a medical nature such as psychological ones that can seriously affect a person's health and must always be taken into consideration; for this reason we believe that the clarification of the General Staff of Defense on the state of health of Salvatore appears to be inadequate and partial.
With the suspension of the proceedings both in India and in Italy and as there is no charge, we believe that the freedom of individuals cannot be limited in spite of the norms on human rights. Salvatore must be allowed to return to Italy.

If it is not a hostage that still does us in India?
