The Ministry of Defense participated for the first time at the event "Outdoor Expo.EU 2019", the event for sports, tourism and outdoor enthusiasts, held at the Bologna Exhibition from 1 to 3 in March 2019, concluded yesterday with a big public favor.
Noteworthy, in fact, was the interest of the many visitors to the stand organized by the Defense, which had as its main theme the four natural elements - earth, air, water, fire -, in whose daily size the military of the Armed Forces and the 'Arma dei Carabinieri, in this united with many fans of sports, tourism and outdoor activities.
The young and old who visited the Defense exhibition area had the opportunity to try their hand at the many "military attractions" offered to the public, including the "Military Fitness" circuit of the Italian Army, which presents a series of obstacles to the basic training of the Italian soldier, the Navy sailing simulator able to faithfully reproduce the maneuvers necessary to make the most of the direction and speed of the wind and the flight simulator of the aircraft Typhoon of the Italian Air Force.
Many visitors, moreover, interacted with the forest police in whose stand, dedicated to biodiversity and the defense of the environment, it was possible to confront the themes of the protection of the fauna, the territory and the natural resources to be protected.
The "Outdoor Expo.EU 2019" event has again this year aimed at bringing together all the world's realities Outdoor in one big event, confirming its centrality in the particular commercial segment.
