France: Minister Trenta's official visit ended

Minister Elisabetta Trenta's first official visit to France began with a meeting with her colleague Florence Parly.

On the table issues of common interest including European Defense Fund (EDF) and PESCO, the European Intervention Initiative, the upcoming Palermo Conference on Libya organized by Italy.

The owner of the Dicastery, also in Paris to visit the Exhibition Euronaval - the most important international meeting of the naval, maritime and defense exhibition that takes place at the Le Bourget exhibition center - during the interview with his counterpart he underlined that these are "important days for the collaboration between the French naval industry and Italian ".

Indeed, Ministers Trenta and Parly attended the signing by the Secretary General of Defense / DNA, General Nicolò Falsaperna and his French counterpart, of an agreement in application of the agreement already signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Italian Republic and the Ministry of the Defense of the French Republic Concerning the Cooperation related to Logistic Support Units (LSS).

Yesterday the visit to the Euronaval Show - a biennial event that will end on October 26 - which also this year sees a significant presence on the part of Italian industries. Over 30 are present, to which is added the stand of AIAD (the federation of Italian Companies for Aerospace, Defense and Security).

To welcome Minister Trenta - who underlined the importance of supporting the Defense industry to also increase employment development - were in fact the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Valter Girardelli, and the Secretary General of Defense / DNA , general Falsaperna.
