Also this year the collaboration between Formula E and the Italian Air Force is renewed. Saturday 13 April, for the first time in the history of Formula E, the MB339 PAN aircraft of the Frecce Tricolori of the Italian Air Force will fly over the starting grid of the GEOX Rome E-Prix 2019, spreading for the occasion the longest Tricolor in the world just before the start of the electric single-seater race. The National Aerobatic Team patrols on the Rome sky at the end of the Hymn of Mameli, performed for the occasion by the Musical Band of the Italian Air Force and directed by Maestro Colonel Patrizio Esposito.

On Friday and Saturday, at the Allianz E-Village set up in the areas of the "La Nuvola" congress center, the Air Force will also be present with an information and promotional stand, a playful flight simulator of an MB339PAN of the Frecce Tricolori and a platform, in the outdoor area, where the fencers of the Military Air Force Sports Center will be available to the public to try out fencing.

Technology, innovation, preparation and value of human resources, key elements common to the Italian Air Force and Formula E. Since its establishment, the Air Force is naturally inclined to the development of innovation and modernity, an essential paradigm for airplanes of the Armed Forces can sail, as they do from 96 years, the skies of the whole world following the same vocation: to be useful to the country and operate at the service and for the defense of the community.

Le Frecce Tricolori will carry out some test passes on the circuit on Friday morning 12 April with a reduced formation of aircraft.
